Strengthening Efforts to Combat Counterfeit Medicines and Dietary Supplements

On April 20, 2025, the Ministry of Health issued an official dispatch to the People’s Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities regarding the reinforcement of efforts to combat counterfeit medicines and dietary supplements.

The Ministry of Health requested local authorities to launch a high-intensity campaign to inspect and strictly handle activities related to the production and trade of counterfeit and unregistered medicines and dietary supplements, especially those distributed via social media and online platforms.

📌 At the same time, the Ministry emphasized the importance of public communication on the risks and harms of counterfeit medicines and promoted the rational and safe use of prescription drugs
