On June 29, 2025, the Ministry of Health issued Draft No. 8 – Announcement of the contents of the Draft Decree amending and supplementing several articles of Decree No. 15/2018/NĐ-CP.

The Draft aims to tighten food safety management in response to a series of serious violations.The draft introduces a range of new regulations concerning self-declaration, product advertising, post-market surveillance, quality control, and the responsibilities of relevant regulatory agencies.
